At North Waikato Natives, we take pride in cultivating a wide range of New Zealand Native plants that begin their journey from locally eco-sourced seeds in our dedicated nursery.
Native plants are particularly effective for enhancing areas secured for waterway restoration projects, or already fenced off retired land.
They play a vital role by naturally filtering out nutrients, sediment, and bacteria that often leave the land as runoff, improving the quality of water in your waterways.
What we offer
Project planning and AdvicePlanning and advising on projects is an important part of our service. As part of that service, we will meet you on site and provide you with guidance regarding your specific project area. We will be able to help you with the right quantity of plants that you will need for your project, as well as the most suitable plant species for the location!
Planting Service and post-planting careSite Preparation: This includes a Spot spray of the area (included in our price) Planting: Our team of experienced planters can look after the planting for you so you can carry on with your daily tasks on farm. Post-Planting Care option: We can also complete a release spray or hand release from around each plant so they can continue to thrive, this is usually done in the springtime.
